Yaesu FT-411

My Third handheld and the only dedicated 2m handheld at this moment.

After years of service, when his OM went SK, this little rig ended up in a drawer being left there for years. After it found his way to my shack a lot of cleaning, checking and fixing solderjoints, replacing a few corroded switches was needed to get it back to his glory days.

I swaped the defective NiCD cells out of the FNB-10 with new NiMH cells and after that, the first QSO was made with it from my shack. The reports were with compliments about the audio and also the power output 100% original.

Sold to a OM who told me that the FT-411 was his first handheld.
