Yaesu FT-301

My second true HF rig.

Something old, something black but it is new in my shack. It needs a hell of a cleaning job (especially the switches and the potentiometers) but what a nice piece of electronics. First QSO made with in the morning of 18 november 2014 with OM Mike OE6MBG. Got a nice report about the signal (he has a signal monitor) although the audio was a little less on the low side. But that's a problem we can fix :-) Happy with it.

The FT-301 now has new owner.

Update sept 2019 :  due to a high level of QRM and man made noise in my QTH I is hard for me to operate from home in SSB and CW.  That's why I sold every rig or receiver that wouldn't fit in my backpack, was heavier than 5Kg or wasn't made for /P operations. Yeh, QRM sucks.
